Armenian Heritage in the Diaspora

The scientific research centre carries out cataloguing and research of Armenian cultural heritage in foreign republics. For this purpose, the center has a program “Armenian historical and cultural heritage in the Diaspora”, which is carried out by the employees of the scientific research center and invited specialists.

Now, within the framework of the project the Armenian heritage in the Russian Federation, Crimea, Central Asia, Israel, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine, is being studied in a broad sense. In particular, the staff of the centre extracts and map from the Internet, professional literature, archival materials, the historical and cultural Armenian heritage documented in these countries and sometimes-other manifestations that are clearly of Armenian origin (streets, factories, shops, etc.).
