Construction works have begun on the restoration of the church of Lori Berd fortress

By order of the ministry of ESCS of the Republic of Armenia, restoration works have recently begun on the church (public building) of the Lori Berd fortress in the Lori Berd community, Lori region, the RA, which are being carried out according to the restoration project prepared by the Scientific Research Center of Historical and Cultural Heritage.
Our research centre under the leadership of architect Hovhannes Sanamyan, deputy director of scientific and design works, is supervising the restoration works.
The construction site was prepared according to the schedule. The types of stone needed for the restoration have been selected, the layer of soil accumulated on the roofs has been cleared, and the decking is being tied for the main restoration works.
