Rescue excavations have been completed in the village of Chkalov in the Lori region of the Republic of Armenia

In the village of Chkalov, Lori region of the Republic of Armenia, while carrying out land work, a citizen noticed a suspicious structure and contacted the relevant authorities. Archaeologist Mary Safaryan, on the instructions of the Research Center, went to Chkalov and organized on-site excavations of the discovered tomb, which were completed in a matter of days, without causing serious trouble to the citizens.
