In his remarks, archaeologist Arman Nalbandyan highlighted the importance of conducting comprehensive research into Lori’s rich historical and cultural heritage. He also noted that October 24 marks the 185th anniversary of the birth of Armenian scholar Alexander Yeritsyan. Yeritsyan conducted his first research expeditions in the Lori region, visiting Akner, Dsegh, Sanahin, Karin j, and other settlements.
“This conference is also a tribute to the memory of the renowned Armenian scholar,” Arman Nalbandyan noted.
