In 2024, the archaeological expedition of the Research Centre of Historical and Cultural Heritage, led by Mher Khechoyan, carried out rescue excavations at the endangered tomb of Shamoot. The discovered artifacts, dating back to the 1st millennium BC, were restored in the restoration department of our research centre by restorer Anahit Esayan. Recently, 2–3 restored vessels and all the remaining materials were transferred to the Lori-Pambak Museum of Local History for permanent preservation.
