Practical Excavation Training at Our Research Center

The collaboration between the Charles Aznavour State College of Culture and Arts and the Research Centre of Historical and Cultural Heritage continues. As part of their internship at the centre, students not only specialize in the restoration of archaeological finds but also study archaeological methodology in depth.
In particular, during a recent practical lesson, students Samvel Sargsyan, Seda Babayan, Lusine Israyelyan, and Hayk Avagyan presented their reports on monumentology. The theoretical part was followed by practical training of archaeological excavation exercises, during which students learned the nuances of maintaining a field diary and the basic principles of exploratory excavations.
