Dear colleagues,
The “Scientific Research Centre of Historical and Cultural Heritage” SNCO of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia and the Lori-Pambak Local History Museum are organizing a Republican Scientific Conference titled “Historical and Archaeological Heritage of Lori” on October 23, 2026. The conference will be held at the Lori-Pambak Local History Museum. It will bring together researchers specializing in various fields of study and the preservation of Lori’s cultural heritage (including historians, culturologists, art historians, archaeologists, ethnographers, architects, conservator-restorers, archaeological fund curators, and others) to present their ongoing or completed work.
The conference will provide specialists with extensive opportunities to explore research topics in this field and will lay the foundation for the development of joint scientific projects.
The thematic directions for the conference presentations are:
- History
- Archaeology
- Ethnography
- Historical and cultural heritage (architecture, culture, art)
- Traditions and methods of restoration, consolidation, and preservation of artifacts; presentation of museum collections
To participate in the conference, please submit an abstract of 350–400 words to the Conference Organizing Committee at [email protected] by September 18, 2026. Please include the title of the paper, participants’ full names, the representing institution, and contact details (email address and phone number). The abstract should reflect the main idea of the paper and the purpose of the research.
Each presentation is allotted 15 minutes, followed by a 5-minute discussion.
Authors whose abstracts are accepted must confirm their participation by September 30.
Note: The conference proceedings will be published in the next issue of the scientific journal ‘Hushardzan’ (‘Monument’) scientific journal.
