Lori fortress is one of the finest fortified structures of medieval Armenia, with its rich layers of known and unknown culture. Almost all known sub-monuments of this monumental complex are currently being restored with the funding from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
The video presents the church of the ancient city site, which is nearing the end of restoration, and which has been used for other purposes at different times, undergoing various internal and external interventions. Let us remind you that the archaeological excavations carried out for the purpose of restoration, the necessary research work, as well as the restoration projects of all the sub-monuments of the complex were carried out by the Scientific Research Centre for Historical and Cultural Heritage, with the financial support from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
