The restoration works of the St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Russian Orthodox Church in Amrakits (Lori region, Republic of Armenia) have been completed. The works were carried out based on the scientific project documentation compiled by the Scientific Research Centre of Historical and Cultural Heritage.
The client of the restoration project was the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
Andranik Sargsyan, the architect-restorer of the project, presents the professional justifications of the works carried out during the restoration.

By the way, for the project of strengthening and restoration of the Russian Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker (village of Amrakits, Lori region, RA) and improvement of the territory, the Deputy Director of the Scientific Research Centre of Historical and Cultural Heritage, architect Hovhannes Sanamyan, and the Head of the Monuments Design and Restoration Group, architect-restorerAndranik Sargsyan, were awarded the “Best Project of the Year” diploma in 2024 in the “Architectural Heritage: Restoration” nomination by the Serbian Association of Architects.
