IIn the autumn of 2021, the Scientific Research Center conducted archaeological excavations on the territory of the southeastern group of monuments of the Sanahin monastic complex in the Lori region of the Republic of Armenia
From May to October 2022, excavations and archaeological research were carried out on the territory of one of the famous fortresses of medieval Armenia: the fortified city of Lori.
The first issue of the scientific journal “Hushardzan” for 2023 was recently published. This volume of the journal contains articles devoted to various scientific questions about Armenian historical and cultural heritage. The publication of the second issue of the journal is planned for December of this year.
The scientific collection “Historical and Cultural Heritage of Armenia” (ed.: Khachik Harutyunyan), published in English in 2022 under a grant from the RA Ministry of ESCS, having passed the Armenian stage, was presented at the 20th International Competition “The Art of Books” in Moscow, where it was awarded 1st place among 49 publications in the “My Country” category.For the first time, the publication of our Research Center, which is a great responsibility for the organization, received an honorable prize.
