Kobayravank (12th century) was one of the most important spiritual, cultural, writing and rewriting of ancient manuscripts centres in medieval Armenia.
In 2024, the excavations of the “newly discovered” complex hollowed out of the rock near the village of Ohanavan, Aragatsotn region of the Republic of Armenia were rescue in nature, as the latter was discovered during earthworks by the owner of the area.
Opposite the village of Karbi in the Aragatsotn region, to the left of the gorge of the Kasakh River, on a rocky cape lies the ancient village settlement of Vardenis.
